Frequently Asked Questions

Why choose CBLC?

At Creative Beginnings Learning Center, we are passionate about fostering a love for learning in a nurturing environment. As a certified early childhood educator with over eight years of preschool teaching experience, I, Ms. Angelique, designed our program to align with Oklahoma early learning guidelines and prepare children for kindergarten and beyond.

Families who choose CBLC value our intimate classroom setting with a low student-to-teacher ratio, where every child receives individualized attention. They appreciate the strong foundation in both academics and social development that our curriculum provides, as well as the love and care their child receives each day.

Enrolling at CBLC is more than choosing a school—it’s becoming part of a supportive community that values your child’s growth and success. Don’t just take our word for it; hear from the families who have trusted us with their child’s education and care!

We can’t wait to welcome you to our Creative Beginnings family!

Are there any additional fees for the school year?

Registration and tuition cover all supplies, learning materials, and field trips for your child. It also includes a spirit shirt and end of year portfolio.

How old should my child be to attend school? Does my child need to be potty trained?

Children are accepted if they are 2.5-5 years old. Yes, children must be potty trained. What does this mean? Children need to be able to recognize they need to use the restroom and need minimal to no help from the teacher. We understand accidents happen so make sure to have extra clothes in their cubby. Newly potty trained kiddos can be accepted into the program and may have regressions which is normal when starting in a new environment.

What if my child has food restrictions?

I provide two snacks and a lunch, however, if your child has special dietary needs/preferences you will need to provide their meals & snacks for the day. I am able to heat up lunches and keep them cold.

How many students per class? Why are the classes mixed ages?

Each class has a ratio of 1 teacher to 8 students.

Our mixed-age classrooms for ages 2.5 to 5 provide a unique opportunity for growth and collaboration. Younger children benefit from observing and learning from older peers, while older children develop leadership and empathy as they guide and support their younger classmates. This natural, family-style learning environment fosters social skills, independence, and a strong sense of community—key elements for a well-rounded early education experience.
